How would you describe this cartoon? Is it funny, sad, ironical, hopeful, stupid, realistic, depressing? Is it trying to make a point? Is there a play on words?

  1. Hi prof

I think it’s mostly ironical but it’s also sad and realistic and I think it hides a kind of incentive not to give up

    1. Well, it’s definitely a reflection of the times we live in. Perhaps there is an underlying message that we mustn’t just give up, especially the younger generations.

    1. Hi Giovanna, you reflection is more or less on the same lines as mine. It is almost black humour in some ways. It also reflects a sad truth about these difficult times.
