Thanks, Tony- Your suggestion was my first choice, but I changed my mind for a worse option, as it often happens to me. Similarly, it occurs to me when I meet a person for the first time: the first impression is very often the most reliable.
Interesting point. With people it’s very often true, but we must always be prepared to re-evaluate. With language, when you reach a reasonable level of competence, it’s generally a good thing to trust your instincts, I think.
As far as I know, this is another very useful tip to bear in mind. Thanks Sir
