    1. Nice try, but it doesn’t work, I’m afraid. You’re using 4 syllables and the name only has 3.
      ADAM = 2 syllables = Add + ………….
      ORL = 1 Syllable = ???

    1. Interesting attempt, Mauro. Unfortunately the letter combination “orl” can only really have one sound in English and that is the sound of the word “small”. The real key is working out the second word that uses the “am” part of “Adam”. You need to think very cerefully about how we pronounce “Adam” bearing in mind that the stress is all on the first syllable and therefore the second “a” is reduced to almost nothing…

  5. Ma il titolo del libro ha una qualche influenza? Il totale finale al quale…….
    add my oral (????) It’s too difficult for me!

    1. Certo che il titolo serve. È l’indizio principale! Ma tutto il resto è un gioco di suoni, sillabe, e di ambivalenza.
      Vedi, tu hai messo “add my oral” che non è male (anche se non avrebbe molto senso!) Ma dobbiamo pensare ai suoni. Dove pesci il suono finale di “my” (sarebbe: “ai”)? Non c’è nella pronuncia del nome! Poi “oral” sono due sillabe dove “orl” non può che essere monosillabico (c’è una sola vocale). Pensaci ancora!

    1. Ahah! I’s good that you’re trying anyway, Dino. “Home” is not correct, You could not possibly hear “home” when you pronounce the name. Remember that very often the “hidden” words are pronouns, prepositions and the likes. Anf homophones are also used a lot!

    1. “Add” is a good start, Dino but “more” doesn’t work.
      Try breaking it down into syllables and you’ll see that you actually need three words. 😉
