However, “I will wait…” is also perfectly alright.
“I will wait…” (farò in questo modo)
“I will be waiting…” (la situazione sarà così)
Thank you Tony, but, for as little I know, I will wait could mean I will wait forever, as my work. Conversely, be waiting is just for this only occasion. Am I mistaken?
“I will wait…” in this context refers to a decision made at the moment of talking:
A: “Let’s have dinner together on Sunday evening.”
B: “OK. I’ll wait for you outside the restaurant.”
I think that in this context it is the most likely solution.

That’s the idea, Claudio. Also “out of” tends to imply “movement away” from the place in question.
