      1. Give sth to me / Give me sth
I thought it was the same for ” explain”.

Can you explain me what this expression means, please?

          1. “Explain” doesn’t work like “give” I’m afraid, Dani. The “to” is necessary even if you put the indirect object first. 🙂

  1. This is my translation: “Try will not to miss this movie if it ever comes your way.”

    Bye

    1. I think this is in the wrong place, Loredana, but it doesn’t matter. Your version is fine except for that “will”. 😀

  2. Salve, non ho scritto nulla, penso si tratta di qualche altra persona. Mario

  3. Good morning,prof.

Can you explain me what this expression means, please?

      1. Puoi spiegare a me .. to me

Can you explain to me what this expression means ,please?

        Thanks ,prof.🤓

        1. Well done, Liliana. In fact the verb “to explain” requires the preposition “to” even when you put the indirect object first.
