I got it wrong : couldn’t find any difference between the sounds., Took me down a peg or two. Thank you Tony
Hi, Tony, my problem is a one of prosody. Apart from SHOVE, I usually pronounce words quite well when it comes to a whole sentence. as I have no time to think and speak rather quickly, I think I pronounce it “The Italian way”— Too bad
Yes, it was. I learnt new words and know their pronunciations clearly now. Do you disagree with my way to have done it? Maybe I should have stopped at my intuition
Hi Lucia. With these exercises, I usually just wait for people to give me their answers and then I tell them if they are right or wrong. Then, after a few days have passed, I provide the answer. So which do you think is the “intruso”?
Fammi capire meglio cosa intendi, Lucia. Credo che la cosa migliore è semplicemente quello di esplorare tutto e rendersi conto delle aree che possono essere di maggiore utilità nel tuo caso. In fondo a ogni articolo postato c’è sempre la possibilità di lasciare un commento e aver del feedback da parte mia. 🙂

Well, Carla, some of these words are not very common, so I guess it’s as much a learning curve as anything else.

Very good, Dany.
Was that an instinctive answer or did you do some research?

I listened to and read each of them and even if I noticed it, I wanted to verify my intuition by looking them up in a dictionary.

No, Dany. I think you did the right thing. It’s all part of the learning curve, step by step.

grazie Tony, però a volte non mi è facile capire come muovermi sul sito.
