This morning I’m trusting in you to find out what the problem is and to manage this quite delicate situation without anybody getting offended.
Very good, Paolo. A few small suggestions for improvement (not corrections):
🙂
This morning I’m relying on you to find out what the problem is ( what is the problem ) to settle this rather delicate situation without anyone taking offence
Very good, Carla.
The formula you have put in brackets is the question form which would be incorrect here.
🙂
i KNOW, TEACHER.. but, in many books I read, this formula is not followed as the authors use it even in the affirmative. I wrote to you just to learn what your opinion is.. Merry Xmas
Well, it sounds very strange to my ears! 😂
Happy Christmas! 🎄
Stamattina mi affido a voi per scoprire qual è il problema e per sistemare questa situazione alquanto delicata senza che nessuno si offenda.
This morning I’m confident in you to find out what the problem is and to fix this rather delicate situation without anybody getting offended.
Very good, Claudio, except for “I’m confident in you” which doesn’t really work well followed by an infinitive. You could say, “I’m confident that you will find out…” which would be an acceptable solution here. The expression I was looking for, however, is a different one. 🙂
Stamattina mi affido a voi per scoprire qual è il problema e per sistemare questa situazione alquanto delicata senza che nessuno si offenda.
This morning I rely on you to find out what the problem is and to sort out this situation rather delicate with no offence for anyone.
A very good effort, Dany. May I make just one or two suggestions:
🙂
Got it. Thanks so much 😊
😀👍
This morning I am relying on you to find out what the problem is and to fix / to settle this rather delicate situation without anyone getting offended/ without offending anyone / not wanting to offend anyone
Another great version, Giovanna, but I’m not sure why you added that final “not wanting to offend anyone” which doesn’t really work very well in my view.
tony I have tried various alternatives……and “not wanting to offend anyone” doesn’t work. Thanks
Fair enough! 🙂
good afternoon prof ☃️🫎🎄
This morning I am relying on you (guys)to find out what the problem Is and sort out this rather delicate situation without anyone being offended.
That’s a very good version, Roby. Well done. I think the only thing I would be tempted to change is “being”. It’s not wrong, but perhaps “getting” would be more appropriate here. 🙂
oohhhh i am a banana head🤣🤣…..l wrote Getting at the beginning…..
anyway…..thanks a lot prof.
😉👍
Good morning, Teacher
Stamattina mi affido a voi per scoprire qual è il problema e per sistemare questa situazione alquanto delicata senza che nessuno si offenda.
This morning I’ll trust in you to find out what is the problem and to fix this quite delicate situation without no one gets offended
Hi Anita. A good effort and comprehensible but with a few things that need sorting out:
Follow my suggestions and try again?
hi!
This morning I entrust you to find out what the problem is and figure out this quite a delicate situation without anyone takes it as an offence. (Or without anyone gets offended?)
A good effort, Davide, but there are a few problems here. You need to find a more suitable verb for “mi affido” and for “sistemare”, first of all.
🙂
Ok tony…an alternative version (if it ‘s still wrong I’ll wait for the other’s that may be better than mine😁)
This morning I count on you to find out what the problem is and settle this quite delicate situation without anyone getting offended.
That’s much much better, Davide! “Count on” works very well here, but I think it should be a present continuous and not a present simple.
This morning I ‘m counting on you to find out what the problem is and settle this quite delicate situation without anyone getting offended.
wish you a merry christmas tony!🎅
Thanks Davide! The same to you! 😀👍
This morning I am confident in you to discover what is the problem and to sort out this quite sensitive circumstance without anybody hurt
But I’m not sure
I’m afraid your version today is somewhat ‘approximate’, Luca. It’s comprehensible, but far from what is really needed here. Keep an eye on other people’s versions and we’ll come up with one or two good final versions eventually.
