La traduzione, come metodo di esercizio nell’apprendimento di una lingua, farà sicuramente parte della vecchia scuola, però, inserita in un contesto più vario di apprendimento, soprattutto con feedback in tempo reale, può sempre essere un utile esercizio di allenamento.
Consiglio una partecipazione attiva e visibile, postando la tua versione tra i commenti in fondo a questa pagina. In questo modo riceverai un mio commento o suggerimento in tempo più o meno reale. Ma per chi non se la sente, si può semplicemente annotare la propria versione e controllarla attraverso i miei commenti lasciati per gli altri.
Ricorda l’importanza di immaginare un contesto reale nel quale la frase in questione avrebbe senso, prima di procedere con la traduzione.

“Ever” is not really necessary here, but it’s okay.
The important thig to remember is that the verb that comes AFTER for/since in the duration form is always past simple because it denotes the momenti in which the action started and NOT the duration of the action.

There are a number of problems here, Luca. First of all, you can’t follow “think” with an infinitive (well, you can occasionally, but it’s very rare and best forgotten). This means you need a new clause:
“I don’t think (that) I have eaten….”
Poi, “so” non si abbina a sostantivi, solo ad aggettivi e avverbi. Qui serve “such” e poi un aggettivo negativo: “unhealthy”.
Infine, devi scegliere tra:
1) at your cousin’s (sottintesa “house”)
2) with your cousin (niente genitivo)
