  1. The receptionist should be dismissed on the spot for her limited skills in understanding the real client’s request, beyond the grammatical meaning. On the other hand, each one should adopt expressions without hypothetical misunderstandings.
    If we see that answer as an English humorous episode, it remembers me a similar situation: An Italian tourist in the City of London asked a Londoner on the street where he could have found a good restaurant, and the prompt reply was: in Italy, of course

      My notes:
      The receptionist should be dismissed on the spot for her limited skills in understanding the client’s real request, beyond the grammatical meaning. At the same time (nondimeno), each one should use expressions without potential misunderstandings.
      If we see that answer as a humourous English episode, it reminds me of a similar situation: An Italian tourist in the City of London asked a Londoner on the street where he could find a good restaurant, and the prompt reply was: in Italy, of course.
