La traduzione, come metodo di esercizio nell’apprendimento di una lingua, farà sicuramente parte della vecchia scuola, però, inserita in un contesto più vario di apprendimento, soprattutto con feedback in tempo reale, può sempre essere un utile esercizio di allenamento.

A good effort, Manu.
In the first part I would use the present continuous in order to focus on the particular period in history and be less general.
In the second part, “I’m asking myself” is possible but we would normally use the verb “to wonder” (chiedersi) in this kind of context.
You need “like” at the end in order to complete the “What…(to be)…like” construction.

Comprehensible, Gaetano, but there are a few problems.
In the first part, a present continuous would sound more natural: “we’re living in”. This makes it less generalised and more focused on the particular historic moment.
In the second part you really need the “what (to be) like” construction: “…what our future will be like.” Your “how” version” is also possible, but without the inversion as it is not a question.

Well, Luca, your second version is decidedly better than the first, but there are a couple of small problems.
In the first part you need the preposition “in” after “living” (in che tempi strani).
In the second part, I think I would use “be” rather than “look”. “Look” is exclusively “visual” and here you need something a bit more general.
N.B. In any case there should be no ‘s’ on ‘look’!

The first part is not the question “Quanto sono strani i tempi in cui viviamo?” so your “how strange…” doesn’t really work here, although it’s not really a “mistake” as such. I would definitely use the second option: “we are living in”.
In the second part, I would once again use the second option: “what the future will be like”.
