A man was driving down the road one day when a policeman stopped him at a crossroads. After checking the man’s driving licence, the officer looked in the back of the man’s truck and asked, “What are those penguins doing in your truck?”
“They’re my penguins,” replied the man.
“Well, you should take them to the zoo,” said the policeman with a very authoritative look on his face.
The next day, the policeman saw the same man driving his truck down the road again. Pulling the man over, the officer saw that the penguins were still in the truck, only this time they were all wearing sunglasses.
“I thought I told you to take those penguins to the zoo,” said the officer rather sharply.
“Oh, I did,” replied the man. “And today I’m taking them to the beach.”
