That is, probably, more than a supposition! Do you know the curious Monna Lisa’s robbery? A patriotic Italian stole the painting and proudly handed it to Italian authorities, who immediately returned it to the Louvre Museum. In fact, unlike the other artifacts brought illegally during Napoleon Empire, the Monna Lisa had been regularly bought by the Freinch museum.
