I think here I would uses “get in touch with them” or “contact them” rather than “reach”. Otherwise it’s all good.

p.s i didn’t pay attention tto what you said and soon thought that the mistake was the tense. Since It has Always been my sore spot 😁To tell the Truth i was a bit upset because i was positive .

All good, Davide, except perhaps that “pick up” at the end (which in any case should be “picks up”). It’s possible, I suppose, but I think a simple “answers” would be more likely here from a native speaker.

Why did you put the last part in the present perfect and not in the present like the Italian?

It’s interesting though, Paolo. In this context “try and” doesn’t work, yet we can say,
“You should try and contact them as soon as possible.”
“I’ll try and do it tomorrow if I have time.”
However we can’t say,
“I’m trying and cook rabbit for the first time”
My theory is that the “and” version doesn’t work after a continuous tense.
