A poem by Spike Milligan

Smiling is infectious
You catch it like the flu.
When someone smiled at me today,
I started smiling too.
I passed around the corner
And someone saw me grin.
When he smiled, I realised
I’d passed it on to him.
I thought about that smile,
Then realised its worth.
A single smile, just like mine,
Could travel round the earth.
So if you feel a smile begin,
Don’t leave it undetected.
Let’s start an epidemic quick
And get the world infected!

Your comments are always very welcome.

Really beautiful!

Maybe the cadence is also good but it is a new intonation or interpretation

Your reading is well pronounced and with the right cadence, Dany. You need to work now on relaxing a bit and trying to make the sounds come out with a more natural flow. But you’re on the right track. 🙂
