La traduzione, come metodo di esercizio nell’apprendimento di una lingua, farà sicuramente parte della vecchia scuola, però, inserita in un contesto più vario di apprendimento, soprattutto con feedback in tempo reale, può sempre essere un utile esercizio di allenamento.
Consiglio una partecipazione attiva e visibile postando la tua versione tra i commenti in fondo a questa pagina. In questo modo riceverai un mio commento o suggerimento in tempo più o meno reale. You couldn’t figure out how difficult it was to find all the missing information in an old and disorganized archive such our is, but I eventually did it.
A good effort, Luca, but I wouldn’t use ‘figure out’ here as it changes the meaning too much. Stick to ‘wouldn’t believe’.
You can’t say ‘such our is’, but you can say, ‘such as ours’ or ‘like ours’. You need the possessive pronoun.
Perhaps at the end you could say ‘managed’ instead of the more general ‘did’.

It should really be “missing information”, but that’s a small point.
It’s not common practice to put ‘and’ between two adjectives although it is correct. I would just say, “an old, disorganised archive”. I think here ‘disorganised’ is more appropriate than ‘untidy’.
Also, perhaps “in the end” would sound a bit more natural in this kind of context than “finally”.
