After several years of engagement, Tim finally decided it was time to tie the knot with his girlfriend, Jenny.

One evening, not long after their honeymoon, he was out in the garage organising his golfing equipment, when Jenny came to the door. After watching him silently for a minute or two, she suddenly spoke.

“I’ve been thinking, Tim,” she said. “Now that we’re married, maybe it’s time you gave up golfing. You spend such a lot of your time on the golf course. I’m sure you would get a very reasonable price for your clubs.”

Tim’s eyes widened and his jaw dropped as a look of pure horror came over his face.

“What’s wrong, darling?” asked his wife.

Tim shook his head despondently. “You’re starting to sound just like my ex-wife,” he said.

“Ex-wife!” Jenny screamed. “You never told me you were married before!”

Tim gave her a pointed look. “I wasn’t,” he replied.
