Today is Saint Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day, held annually on 17th March, commemorates the patron saint of Ireland and marks the arrival of Christianity in the country. Originally a religious feast day, it has evolved into a global celebration of Irish culture, featuring parades, music, dancing, special foods, and wearing green.

Why not take this opportunity to read and listen to the story of Saint Patrick here on Ingliando and then have a go at answering the “True or False” questions at the end of the story?

  1. It’s cool. You know, on 21st March I was on a trip to Strasbourg and there they were celebrating St. Patrick’s day. Apparently, the Alsatians only want to do it on weekends.
I visited Baden-Baden in Germany, Strasbourg and Colmar in France. I had a very beautiful time.

    1. There’s no accounting for Alsatians. They just do things the way they want to.
Glad you had a good trip! 🙂

      1. Of course I can, even if I’m walking into the loo, without spilling a drop.
        End with my eyes closed!!!
