  1. Se Bob fosse arrivato di mattina, avremo pranzato insieme.
  2. Non avresti mangiato in quel ristorante, se avessi visto la cucina!
  3. Dove sarebbe andato Bob, se l’albergo fosse stato pieno?
  4. Se avessimo saputo della promozione di Bob, avremo telefonato per congratularlo.
  5. Se Jane ci avesse detto dei loro problemi, non avremo chiesto loro di aiutarci.
  6. Che cosa avresti fatto, se il treno fosse già partito?

    Ecco le versioni standard (alcune varianti sono possibili):

    1) If Bob had arrived in the morning, we would have had lunch together.
    2) You wouldn’t have eaten in that restaurant, if you had seen the kitchen.
    3) Where would Bob have gone, if the hotel had been full?
    4) If we had known about Bob’s promotion, we would have phoned to congratulate him.
    5) If Jane had told us about their problems, we wouldn’t have asked them to help us.
    6) What would you have done, if the train had already left?

    -You wouldn’t have eaten in that restaurant, if you had seen the kitchen
    -Where would Bob have gone, if the hotel had been full?
    -If we had known of the Bob’s promotion, we would have rung for congratulate him
    -If Jane had told about their problems, we wouldn’t have asked them to help us.
    -What would you have done, if the train had already left?
