🔵 Spesso in italiano l’articolo partitivo nelle frasi negative viene omesso (come si vede nelle traduzioni delle frasi negative con no). Questa omissione è molto più rara in inglese e quindi conviene usarla sempre.
Non ho capito questa spiegazione
Semplicemente, Anna, che dove in italiano diresti, “Non c’è latte”, in inglese, dire “There isn’t milk”, suona male. Invece, diremmo in questo caso uno delle due possibilitĂ con la forma negativa:
1) There isn’t ANY milk.
2) There is NO milk.
La seconda versione è un po’ piĂą enfattica, ma entrambi vanno bene.
