Thanks prof.
Just reading other translations: what about “even though” or ( as I used ) even if?

Very good, Roby. The only thing I would do is to remove “some” at the end. You’re not really talking about “a small quantity” but just “whispers” in general. 🙂

I’m sorry! It just takes me a while to get the hang of it 😅 (to be honest, “to get the hang” is something I’ve just found out on the Internet, I hope it works)

It works very well in this case! 😂
To start a new thread you need to go right to the bottom of the existing comments. 🙂

You haven’t changed “despite”, Claudio and you have a “go pass” which doesn’t work.

Very good, Lucia. Perhaps “even though” would be a bit more emphatic at the beginning, and at the end, if you want to use your “think” version, then I would say, “I think I can hear whispers.” 🙂

Hi Anita 🙂
Your version is all good until the end where you got a bit confused. The simplest form would be to use “seem” in a personal way: “I seem to hear whispers.” (“hear” (udire) not “listen” (ascoltare) 😉 )
