Even if I don’t believe in ghosts, that old house always scars me.Every time I walk near it, I feel like I ear whispers
Very good, Luca. Just a couple of things I would change in the second part:
🙂
Thanks prof.
Just reading other translations: what about “even though” or ( as I used ) even if?
Regards
Luca
There’s no real difference in this kind of context, Luca. 🙂
Even I don’t believe in ghosts, that old house makes me shivers. Every time I go past it, I seem i hear some whispers
Have a nice Sunday
Once again, a good effort, Fede, but there are a few adjustments to be made:
🙂
thanks for the tips
😀👍
Good evening..
“Even though I don’t believe in ghosts, that old house always gives me the creeps.Every time I pass by I think I can hear some whispers”.
Very good, Roby. The only thing I would do is to remove “some” at the end. You’re not really talking about “a small quantity” but just “whispers” in general. 🙂
ok prof👻
😀👍
Despite I don’t belive in ghosts, that old house gives always me the shivers.Every time I pass by it, I think I hear some whispers.
Thanks
Hi folks.
A good version once again. Here are two suggestions for minor improvements:
Well done 🙂

Despite I don’t believe in ghost stories, that old house always makes me shivers. Every time I go through in front of it, it feels/seems as if I can hear whispering.
Hi Claudio. A good version but there are a few minor problems here:
🙂
Although I don’t believe in ghost stories, that old house always gets me scared.
Every time I walk by, it seems to me like I can hear whispers
Good morning.
Your version is perfectly acceptable but I would suggest a few minor adjustments:
🙂
P.S. You have accidentally hijacked Claudio’s thread 😉
I’m sorry! It just takes me a while to get the hang of it 😅 (to be honest, “to get the hang” is something I’ve just found out on the Internet, I hope it works)
It works very well in this case! 😂
To start a new thread you need to go right to the bottom of the existing comments. 🙂

You haven’t changed “despite”, Claudio and you have a “go pass” which doesn’t work.
Any way here’s the my own final version:
Even though I don’t believe in ghost stories, that old house always makes me shiver. Every time I pass in front of it, it feels/seems as if I can hear whispering.
😀👍
written on the spur of the moment (hoping I won’t omit anything, as I often do)
Even if I don’t believe in ghosts , that old house always gives me the creeps. Every time I walk past (it), I seem to hear whispers
No omissions today, Carla. That’s a perfect version. Well done. 🙂
Hello,
Although I don’t believe in ghosts, that old house always creeps me out.
Every time I pass by it I feel like I hear whispearing.
Thank you as always
Very good and comprehensible as it stands. I would perhaps make two slight changes:
🙂
Nonostante io non creda ai fantasmi, quella vecchia casa mi mette sempre i brividi. Ogni volta che ci passo davanti, mi sembra di sentire dei sussurri.
Even though I don’t believe in ghosts, that old house always creeps me out. Every time I walk by it, I think I hear whispers!
Very good, Paolo. The only thing I would change slightly is at the end: “I think I can hear whispers.”
You are always right, Tony, thank you

Very good, Lucia. Perhaps “even though” would be a bit more emphatic at the beginning, and at the end, if you want to use your “think” version, then I would say, “I think I can hear whispers.” 🙂
Neverthless I don’t believe in ghosts, that old manor always makes me shiver.
Every time I pass by it, I think I hear whispers.
A good effort, Renato. There are two things that can be improved:
🙂
Thank you Tony!!!
😀👍
Good morning, Teacher

I feel like listening to whispers
Hi Anita 🙂
Your version is all good until the end where you got a bit confused. The simplest form would be to use “seem” in a personal way: “I seem to hear whispers.” (“hear” (udire) not “listen” (ascoltare) 😉 )
Ouch!
Thank you, Teacher
yes, actually I didn’t know the best words to translate
😀👍
ciao!

Hi Davide. That’s a really good effort there. Well done.
Here are a few slight improvements you could make:
🙂
