    1. That’s the right idea, Luca, but now you need to use it to formulate a sentence that has more or less the same sound as the original: “He tractor down.”

      P.S. Think about apostrophes and sounds that easily disappear in spoken English…

        But I’m ot sure it sounds like a tractor

          Imagine it written like this: “He tracked ‘er down.” (‘er = her)

    1. You’re on the right ‘track’, Claudio, but the syntax is different. The pronunciation of the two versions must be more or less the same in a pun, so that ‘by her’ is out of place.
